Registration is now open for 1st UEMS Congress!

Join medical specialists from across Europe for 4 days of discussion from 27th to 30th May 2026, learning, and exchange on the future of specialist medicine.

The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 1st UEMS Congress, which will take place from 27th to 30th May 2026 in Leuven, Belgium.

This event ill bring together doctors, educators, and healthcare leaders from across Europe to address some of the most pressing issues and future directions in specialist medical practice.

Over the course of 4 days, participants will have the opportunity to attend original sessions covering a wide range of topics, including:

  • The future of healthcare systems and provision in Europe
  • National, EU, and global perspectives on medical practice
  • Workforce planning, working conditions, and work-life balance
  • Green and sustainable medical practice
  • Equality, diversity, inclusivity, and medical ethics
  • The role of AI and big data in healthcare
  • Training requirements and new methods of assessment


Preferential rates are available for UEMS members

  • Full congress pass: €685 (UEMS members), €785 (non-members)
  • One-day pass: €285 (UEMS members), €335 (non-members)

 Additionally, early bird reduction of €100 applies for registration before 1st December 2025.
